Carhartt WIP FW25: new collection

Carhartt WIP has long been associated with functionality, but in the autumn-winter 2025 collection, the brand takes a noticeable step further. This season it is not only about practicality, but also about color, texture and shape. FW25 looks like a logical evolution of workwear, which is gradually turning into a thoughtful system of a modern wardrobe.

There are no random details in the collection. Clear lines, deep saturated shades and a new interpretation of camouflage create a sense of integrity. Here, color does not attract attention excessively, but rather opens up gradually. Carhartt WIP once again reminds us that the true power of style begins with the material and quality of workmanship.

FW25 looks like an attempt to give familiar things more “architecture”. Jackets, bomber jackets and trousers retain their recognizable shapes, but become more voluminous and softer in silhouette. This creates a sculptural effect, as if the clothing not only protects from the cold, but also shapes the space around the body. The color palette is reminiscent of a night city after the rain: burgundy, sapphire, dark blue, marengo and muted purple shades. The so-called jewel tones are combined with classic Hamilton Brown and sand tones for the brand, thanks to which even simple looks look multidimensional.

Carhartt WIP once again proves that workwear can remain authentic and at the same time relevant. Here, every rivet, every stitch has meaning, and the fabrics look as if they already have their own history. For the first time, saturated colors become not an accent, but the basis of the collection. Burgundy gradually replaces black as the base shade, sapphire adds depth, and red, familiar from archival linings, enlivens restrained jackets and trousers.

These colors reveal themselves differently in daylight and in the evening, especially in combination with rough textures – denim, corduroy and canvas. That is why the collection looks restrained, but not at all boring. It shows that even workwear can be colorful without losing its seriousness.

The brand pays special attention to outerwear. Jackets acquire a larger shape and volume: the insulated OG Active Cold Jacket with a branded camouflage, the Olten Bomber with a snorkel hood, as well as the elongated and massive Detroit and Michigan chore coats. They no longer look like workwear in the classic sense, but rather like thoughtful objects of urban fashion.

Materials play a key role. Corduroy, pile fleece, treated canvas and gently washed cotton twill not only provide warmth, but also create a sense of depth and tactility. This is the case when you want to not just wear clothes, but feel them.

Camouflage in FW25 has also undergone changes. The new Camo Combi looks more like an abstract pattern than a classic camouflage. Rich spots of color merge into a rhythmic texture that resembles a painting. The women’s line features Wild Dog Camo – softer in contrasts and lighter in feel, but with the same character. It fits organically into overshirts, sweaters and cargo pants with streetwear elements.

FW25 also says a lot about materials as carriers of mood. Corduroy evokes associations with the mid-twentieth century, shaggy pile adds comfort, and coated canvas reminds of endurance and protection from the weather. Basic shades – Hamilton Brown, light beige, stone canvas – are combined with rich colors, creating a calm but deep contrast.

The collection works well in layered looks. Deep colors of outerwear are easy to balance with neutral pants, and bright details — linings or seams — add accents. Playing with textures creates volume and does not constrain movements. Accessories, traditionally for Carhartt, complete the look and enhance its character.

Against the background of the rethinking of streetwear, Carhartt WIP looks confident and stable. The brand does not try to catch up with trends, but develops its own language. FW25 is a continuation of the legacy, adapted to the modern city, its rhythm and mood. The collection campaign focuses on night urbanism, industrial landscapes and a calm, practical aesthetic.

Carhartt WIP FW25 is perceived as a new classic — not for the catwalk, but for real life. These are clothes about movement, shape and daily work on yourself, where quality speaks for itself, without unnecessary words.
